It’s Day 30 on Celebrity Big Brother – nearly there! – and Big Brother is up to his normal tricks of causing issues galore.
Jedward are in the bath together. One is covering the other’s “mid-section” in bubbles. Odd. Kim Woodburn is in the diary room, slating – guess who?! – yup, that’s it, Nicola McLean. And James Cosmo. And the “gang.” #deluded When Jedward saw their argument on screen the night before, they did look suitably awkward. Kim, saw nothing wrong. Scary.

John has run out of underwear so he has resorted to wearing one of Bianca Gascoigne’s thongs. He does look concerned when the back disappears. The housemates are outside, singing Edward‘s praises. I have to admit, they are growing on me, especially Edward. I think “off-duty” they’d be great.
It’s task time. The housemates have to create TV shows.
Jedward and Bianca are up first, with a home shopping channel. They have to sell a mystery can of food. Unfortunately, it appears the mystery can is dog food. Even more unfortunate, Edward, followed by Bianca and John, eats a chunk. The remaining housemates are in the living area, watching the show. I say watching, but Nicola spends most of it heaving. Funny.
Next product they have to sell is painless wax strips. They decide to demonstrate them on John’s stomach. Bless him. He didn’t flinch but I don’t envy him.
Final product is a health smoothie. It consists of mushroom soup, fish sauce, cottage cheese, spinach, and a fermented egg. John tries to gargle with it and nearly chokes. He literally turns pale and his eyes start watering. Coleen Nolan starts retching in the other room, and Edward and Bianca are spitting it out in the buckets. They did fantastically.
Just as I’m getting to like them, we’re shown the boys in the diary room, praising themselves and how they are the only people that would have been able to do the task. So close and yet so far.
Next up is a quiz show, ‘Who Is It?’ Housemates will hear a clip and have to decide who is being discussed. The housemate with the most correct answers at the end will win a special prize.
They last all of two questions when Nicola and Kim start bickering again, without actually being involved in either question or answer. Jedward joke that James C flirts with Coleen, and they start getting a bit over excited about it, when Nicola warns them that that could be a bit offensive when someone’s married. They straightaway stop and apologize (and it wasn’t said or I believe meant negatively), but Kim jumps straight on Nicola and kicks it off.
Things calm down again, then we cut to James C in the diary room, talking about the vitriol of Kim. Goes down like a bag of sick. Or the smoothie from before.
Kim starts on James, but Nicola asks if she’s talking to her (she is stood next to James C so she may have genuinely been unsure). Kim makes a comment about Nicola flashing her boobs (she was a glamor model), and Coleen quietly says that’s not called for. Kim then starts on her, and asks if she’d heard what Nicola had said. She says, “Yes, she said you’re vile, and I agree.” That cut Kim right off. Nicola then tells her that everyone actually agrees except Jedward (Edward pulls out a peace out sign at the cue amusingly) and then asks if they got the answer right. Funny.
Jedward win the game and the world breathes a sigh of relief that it’s over. I did anyway. My fear of confrontation has really taken a hammering this season.
Coleen and James are in the garden. Colleen is venting. She understands why the public may think she’s two faced about Jedward, she has said it all to their faces as well, but she holds her hand up to being totally two faced with Kim and that she doesn’t even want to speak to her ever again.
The whole house is suffering the aftermath of the Kim argument. Bianca advises Nicola to stop feeding her and not get involved. Jedward are saying that when they sit with them, or listen when they’re talking about her, doesn’t mean they agree. Slightly naughty, boys, you were slating her yesterday. Kim is saying that if she were James C’s wife or Coleen‘s husband, she would not be happy about the amount of time they have spent together. Nasty. The problem with Kim is, she loses any sort of validity to her argument by the content of what she says.
Jedward are in the diary room saying that James C should apologize to Kim. And that all the housemates should apologize to Jedward for how they’ve been with them. Massive turnaround here from yesterday. I wish we could have an alcohol level sign above their heads to see if there’s any sort of pattern from sobriety to opinion.
For the final part of the TV show task, James C is narrating a bedtime story. He has chosen housemates to play certain characters – Nicola has been chosen to play Prince Charming; Jedward the two headed troll, Coleen as the Fairy Godmother, Bianca as the princess, and Kim as the devious wizard.
We get a loose fairy-tale, that involves Kim emptying a nasty-smelling porridge on Bianca’s head and a story line that’s based on the general consensus of opinion of housemates on each other. And James C reading a story imitating Coleen’s accent, turning a fairy-tale into a slightly dark sounding horror story. He definitely has a career ahead of him.
And that’s it, we’re ready for the finale. Who wins, we decide, and I can’t call it…

It’s Day 29 in the Celebrity Big Brother house. The housemates are woken up by rock music from the 1980s – it feels like this series started around then, not just 29 days ago.
The day’s task is Rockstars and Roadies. ‘The Housemate Mayhem’ band – consisting of Jedward and Nicola McLean – get all the power as the rest of the housemates are roadies that have to do whatever the rockstars order.

Kim Woodburn has to clean the mirrors. James Cosmo just wishes he wasn’t always on the wrong side of things.
Coleen Nolan says it’s the first tour she hasn’t wanted to sleep with any of the band. In fact, she would prefer to trap her breasts in the fridge tour. It’s that kind of tour.
James C pretends to organize lines of sugar on a plate and a rolled up note. All the housemates find it hilarious. Bar one. Of course. Kim tells them all off and confiscates.
Rules state roadies are not allowed in the smoking area. Calum Best, James C, and Coleen are being rebels and having a cigarette. Jedward are called to the diary room to remind them of this rule and are told that the roadies are their responsibility. James waits till his cigarette is finished before he moves. #toocoolforschool
For the next part, the band needs to recruit a new member. Roadies have to be interviewed.
Calum tells them he would get the band’s name tattooed on his forehead and then serenades Nicola. Works for me. Bianca is next and tells the band the stupidest thing she’s ever done is glue her eyes closed. At least she doesn’t need Calum’s wig.
Kim is next and her Diary Room is hilarious. Sick family and passing water issues. Love it. Rather than sing the song, she talks it through, and this woman ironically has a career in bedtime stories, it’s so smooth.
Coleen (Born to rock and Built to Roll) enters the audition with a boob wiggle and a Twerk. She sings the song, and the crowd (well Jedward and Nicola) go wild. I’m actually really enjoying this task. It’s great to see the housemates have a bit of fun finally.
James C is last and he promises to grow his beard longer if he gets in. He gets asked his best dance move, and the legend that is James C, ‘Dabs.’ Millions of tweens and teenagers melt. He even sings, a la Elvis style.
It’s a tough one, but Coleen gets it. Well deserved. Extremely funny. I genuinely enjoyed Jedward on this task too. The band has to perform to the ultimate rock song, Bon Jovi’s “Living on a Prayer.” Brilliant. Housemates throw underwear, everyone’s dancing. Brilliant. In a flash clip of what’s to come, Kim’s about to go off on one again. Not Brilliant.
We move forward to Calum’s eviction, and after his exit, Housemates are gathered on the sofa for Big Brother awards.
Housemates are shown nominations and then have to vote on the winner.
First up is Best Argument, and nominees are Jedward, Kim, and Nicola. Jedward genuinely look embarrassed at how they were. Jedward votes Kim, Nicola votes Jedward, and everyone else votes Nicola. Her speech was designed just to cause issues but things just simmer for now.
Next award is naughtiest housemate, and nominees are Kim, Coleen, and Jedward. Nicola and Bianca nominate Kim, for her comments about Jamie’s past. Kim then gets up and says she was going to keep things light hearted and nominate Jedward, but seeing as they brought it up, she starts to nominate Jamie, for cheating on his wife and three kids.
Bianca and Nicola start arguing and tell Kim not to say that when Jamie’s not there to stand up for himself, and that he wasn’t even nominate. Kim starts shouting them all down. James C walks off, saying he’s not playing the game. Kim brings up the comment Nicola made about WAGS, and Kim is shouting, whilst Bianca argues back in a lower voice. She even starts on Jedward, whilst they try and break the atmosphere with a joke.
Kim gets called three times to the diary room, whilst she stands in front of a sitting Nicola, screaming at her. Nicola doesn’t bite and just looks at her. Jedward even recognize that Nicola didn’t argue back and that Kim took it too far.
Kim is in the diary room and even slating James C, saying he’s joined the gang. It doesn’t occur to her that she may have even slightly been to blame with this. She was also on a Celebrity Come Dine with Me program, and acted similarly, so I don’t think it’s particularly the housemates. She even apologizes for saying ‘Bloody.’ Maybe she hasn’t realized the rest of the words she’s used?
We eventually get back to the awards. Kim and Jedward win the award and the boys take it well.
Next award is Biggest Diva. Nominees are James C (for not wearing super hero lycra), Kim (for being splashed from Chloe F), and Jedward (for making Nicola taste food and drink before they have it). The winner is Kim.
The final award is one voted for by the public and is for the housemate that has flown under the radar. The winner is James C. He takes it well, saying that flying under the radar means that he hasn’t been as visible, and that in turn means that he has been able to observe.
After the task, Kim is in the kitchen tidying. John of Jedward has made her a white flag to wave to keep the peace, and Kim is not having it. James C is in the diary room, amazed at the vitriol that has come from her and not really wanting to give her the oxygen.
John takes his white flag to give it Nicola. Nicola debates it quickly and asks John who he thinks was wrong, and John says Kim. Jedward have actually been lovely this episode, back to their earliest days in the house. I think I prefer non-Jedward boys rather than the ones that appear to have eaten a ton of sugar and E numbers. Maybe that’s just my age though.
I’ve not liked the Nicola that’s been picking on Jedward, but sure the close proximity and all the other pressures have mounted up, and Jedward have seem segregated a little, although I think some of that has been their own doing. Anyway, we are on the downward straits, so let’s see what happens.

I don’t know about that Erika Jayne character, but I am digging Erika Girardi on The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills lately. Is it her icy dismissal of the grotesque and annoying PK Kemsley? Or her schoolgirl giddiness when reading for a bit part on The Young And The Restless with Eileen Davidson? Maybe it’s her ability to let panytgate go long before the others caught up? Nah. It HAS to be because Yolanda Foster-Hadid is gone! That must be it. In any case, she wins this year for Most Improved Housewife in my book.
In her blog, Erika recounts her nervousness on set at Y&R, the “INCREDIBLE” location of Kyle Richards’ super cheesy Great Gatsby party, and the relentless sobriety-story-sniffing of Eden Sassoon. But first, Erika praises Lisa R’s barbecue: “This week Lisa Rinna is having a real deal barbecue. Like, a grill and burgers and jeans barbecue. I love it. She has such a sweet family. Delilah Belle and Amelia Gray are two well-raised, bright, young women, and I enjoy getting to know them more and more.”

Rinna’s dog dropping a deuce on the lawn might have been the highlight of the day – everything else squatting on the lawn needed a cleanup crew anyway!
Erika blogs, “Eden talking to Kyle about Kim [Richards’] ‘abrasive’ or ‘rude’ behavior is out of place in this group setting. It feels as though she’s trying to make something out of nothing. IF there is any conversation to be had about this, it should be between Eden and Kim.”
But Erika did love Harry Hamlin‘s meat. And his pies. She gushes, “Can we just talk about Harry Hamlin for a moment? The ‘Sexiest Man Alive’ is out here making us tri-tip and homemade pies?!?! Lisa, Harry is a real dream!”
When Erika read for Eileen’s soap, she admits feeling like a fish out of water. “This audition for The Young and the Restless is not was I was expecting. Reading with Eileen and Sheila got my nerves on 10. I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: I’m scared to death, and I hope I don’t go down in flames. This moment is really cool, though, because who gets a birthday gift like this?”

True dat. Also, Erika did kind of kick a$$ at that reading…no? She seemed like a natural.
After praising Kyle’s party – “the roaring 20s is so my speed—the glitz, the glamour and the excess. I’m loving every minute of it” – Erika addresses Eden’s inappropriate, projecting behavior. Which is, again, all about trying to “help” Kim on her journey. (Nooooo! Not another #JOURNEY!!!)
Erika comments, “Eden is right back to focusing on Kim and Kyle and comparing her journey to theirs. Eden still knows so little about these sisters to be judging the way she has. It is good, though, that she’s having this conversation with just Kim and Kyle and not the rest of the group. I’m hoping this conversation, which can be very hurtful and counterproductive, is over.”
Closing her blog with props to Lisa Vanderpump for scolding Eden like the dead-eyed, messy meddler she is, Erika snarks that perhaps the drama WILL end “now that Lisa Vanderpump and her ‘other foot’ have spoken.” Sigh. Let’s hope so.

Say what you want about Kenya Moore, but she has always been a loyal friend to Cynthia Bailey. Unfortunately, that does not seem to be the same for both sides of the friendship. We ALL remember Cynthia denouncing their friendship as soon as NeNe Leakes popped up during a Real Housewives of Atlanta vacation last year.
This week, Cynthia talked to Matt Jordan on Kenya‘s behalf, which was a nice thing to do, but when she reported back to Kenya by calling her “dramatic” and implying that she had somehow caused Matt’s violence, Kenya was not having it. Now Cynthia is defending her behavior. The convo that Cynthia had with Matt wasn’t too bad. Her loyalty was clear and she seemed to genuinely care for both parties involved. Nevertheless, things got messy when Cynthia recapped it with Kenya.

Cynthia discussed what went down in her Bravo blog. She stated, “I thought that my conversation with Matt went really well. My only goal when I offered to sit down with Matt was to try to get some clarity on the issues between him and Kenya.”
It’s still unclear to me if Kenya asked Cynthia to do this or had any knowledge of the meeting beforehand, but if she had Kenya’s blessing, then I’m all for it. Plus, Matt seemed more levelheaded than normal.
Cynthia continued, “I was not there to attack or argue with him. I already assumed that he would be a little bit on the defensive since I was coming to see him on Kenya’s behalf, and I wanted to hear him out and be fair.”

Things got dicey when Cynthia talked to Kenya about how “dramatic” she was and insinuated that she was partially responsible for Matt’s violent antics. No matter what Matt was reacting to, it really wasn’t okay to act the way he did. Even if he thinks Kenya is the most annoying bitch on the planet, it still wasn’t justified. So I really take issue with Cynthia pulling a Sheree Whitfield and blaming Kenya for something that Matt did.
Unfortunately, even after watching it back, Cynthia doesn’t view the situation the way Kenya (and I) did, “Yes, I was surprised by Kenya’s reaction regarding my conversation with Matt, because I actually thought it was positive and productive. I had her back 100% and was disappointed that she thought otherwise.”
Of course she thought otherwise! Poor delivery, Cynthia. Telling Kenya to admit that she’s dramatic as if that exonerates Matt’s insanity was absurd. Yes, Kenya is dramatic, but so is every other Housewife (minus the boring ones who get fired). Is that an excuse for Matt to pop off and endanger her safety? No. Never.

I do think that Cynthia just slipped up and did not completely understand what message she was sending to Kenya. Still, it was a pretty complicated situation, so you figure she would put more thought into how she was acting. Cynthia did what she could to cement her loyalty to Kenya: “I will always defend my friend if I think that she is right, and I will always tell her if I think otherwise. At the end of the day, I feel like I did my best, and that’s all I can do, and I’m good with that. I love Kenya, and will do anything for her. In her heart, I think she knows that.”
Let’s hope so. I do think that Cynthia did have the best intentions, but she really did have the worst delivery. Given her insensitivity toward Kenya in the past, I figured that she would be more conscious of this, but apparently not.
